MY ACCOUNT
How do I create an account?
- Click the "My Account" link at the top of this page.
- Click the "Create an Account" button.
- Enter your name, email address and password. (Note: Your email address will be your username.)
- Click the "Submit" button.

How do I edit my account information?
Click the "My Account" link at the top of the page. In the menu options, click “Account Information” to edit your account information or "Address Book" to edit your billing and shipping addresses.
I forgot my password. How do I access my account?
Click the "My Account" link at the top of the page. You will find a link that says "Forgot your password?" Click that link. On the following page, enter your email address click the "Submit" button. An email will be sent to you with a link to reset your password.
BILLING & PAYMENT
What methods of payment does ModbookShop.com accept?
ModbookShop.com accepts all major credit cards. For payment via personal check, cashier's check or money order, please contact us directly to place your order and arrange payment.
Business customers may place an order directly on the site and enter their purchase order number. We will invoice you later.
Why is a deposit of $500 required for my Modbook Pro purchase?
Since the Modbook Pro is custom produced and built according to each customer's specifications, including the purchase of a new MacBook Pro base system on the customer's behalf, a deposit payment of $500 is required with each order.
For my Modbook Pro purchase, why is my credit card declined if I have $500 available to pay the deposit payment?
All orders must be placed with a credit card that can accommodate the full balance of your order at the time of purchase. Although the full amount will be authorized, only $500 will be invoiced/billed to your credit card when the order is accepted.
To eliminate any delays during the final configuration and shipping process, we will auto-bill the remaining outstanding balance to your credit card 10 days prior to shipment. Authorizing the entire balance when your order is placed ensures the auto-bill can occur at a later date.

When will the outstanding balance on my Modbook Pro purchase be charged to my credit card?
We will send an email 12 days prior to expected shipment informing you that the credit card on file will be auto-billed for the outstanding balance in 2 days. If you elect to cancel your order, your credit card will not be billed and your deposit will be refunded. Otherwise, your credit card will be automatically billed for the outstanding balance amount.
Do I have to pay sales tax?
Sales tax is only applicable for shipments to addresses in California (the location of our warehouse).
What if I have a question about my charges?
Click the "My Account" link at the top of this page. When prompted, enter your login information to review your orders. You may compare your order history on the website with your financial records. If you have further questions or concerns, please contact customer service for assistance.
What if I need a copy of my receipt or invoice?
Click the "My Account" link at the top of this page. When prompted, enter your login information to review your orders. Select the order you want to review. Click "Print Order" (upper left of screen) to print this order.
If there have been any invoices on your order, you will see a link called "Invoices" next to About This Order: Order Information at the top of the page. Click the "Invoices" link. Find the invoice you would like to print and click "Print Invoice."
ORDER STATUS
How do I track my order?
Click the "My Account" link at the top of this page. When prompted, enter your login information and go to "My Orders" to see the status of your orders. Updates and other communications from us will appear at the bottom of each order.
When will I receive my order?
When you place your order, the expected shipping date is shown at the top of the product page. For Modbook Pro orders, we will email you 12 days before expected shipment to notify you. You will also receive an email when your order ships.
SHIPPING
What methods of shipping are available for my order?
All shipments are sent via United Parcel Service (UPS). When you place your order, you can select which UPS shipping method you prefer (for example: Ground, Next Day Air, etc.).
How much does shipping my order cost?
Shipping is automatically calculated prior to submitting your payment information. Simply add items to your cart, then proceed to the Checkout page where you will be offered shipping method choices and their prices based on your shipping address.
